31.5" Curved WQHD Gaming Monitor

The Acer Nitro EDB323QU S3bmiipx is a 31.5-inch curved VA panel with a 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution. It delivers a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time supported by AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync technology. The monitor includes one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 inputs plus a headphone jack.

Suited for fast-paced gaming at 2560 x 1440

This display suits players who want high refresh rates and low latency on a large curved screen without HDR requirements. Buyers who need adjustable stand height or certified HDR performance should look at something else. The fixed stand only offers tilt adjustment and the panel peaks at 250 candela per square meter.

Check DisplayPort 1.4

Verify your graphics card can drive 2560 x 1440 at 180Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0. Confirm desk space for the 31.5-inch curved cabinet or a VESA 100mm x 100mm mount since the stand height is not adjustable. A headphone jack is available for audio pass-through.

Questions about this item

What cable do I need to reach the 180Hz refresh rate at 2560 x 1440?

Use the included DisplayPort 1.4 cable or a certified DP 1.4 cable; both HDMI 2.0 ports also support the full resolution and refresh rate.

Will my older graphics card with only HDMI 1.4 run this monitor at its native resolution?

HDMI 1.4 is limited to 144Hz at 2560 x 1440, so you will get the correct resolution but not the maximum 180Hz refresh rate.

How can I confirm the 1ms response time is active after setup?

Enable the overdrive setting in the OSD and verify 180Hz is selected in Windows display settings; the panel will then operate at its rated 1ms grey-to-grey speed.
