15.6 165 Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V combines a 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 display running at 165 Hz with an Intel Core i5 13420H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD under Windows 11 Home. The configuration targets gamers who want high refresh rates in a portable form factor.

Check ports power and cooling clearance

Verify that your peripherals match the available connections: one HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with power-off charging and one USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support. The chassis measures 14.26 x 9.44 x .93 inches and weighs 4.63 lbs, so confirm your bag or sleeve accommodates those dimensions. Wi-Fi 6 and an Ethernet E2600 controller handle networking.

Sustained load on i5 13420H and RTX 5050

The 8-core processor runs performance cores up to 4.6 GHz single-core boost and 4.5 GHz all-core, while efficient cores reach 3.4 GHz; the RTX 5050 provides 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. Under extended gaming sessions the thermal design must dissipate heat from both the CPU and GPU simultaneously. Fan curves and surface temperatures will reflect the combined 45 W class processor and discrete graphics workload rather than brief burst behaviour.
