Gaming-Ready Display

The Acer Nitro V 15.6 is a new business-class laptop built around a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS panel running at 165 Hz. An Intel Core i5-13420H octa-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics drive the system, while 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD handle workloads and storage.

Buyer Fit

This machine suits users who want a high-refresh screen and discrete RTX graphics in a portable chassis for gaming and creative multitasking. Buyers who need more storage capacity or a higher-resolution panel should consider other configurations.

Deciding Specification

The 165 Hz IPS display is the single specification that determines whether this laptop matches the intended use. If the workflow or play style demands that refresh rate at 1920 x 1080 resolution, the panel justifies the purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR4 memory need to be upgraded later?

The laptop ships with 16 GB of DDR4 installed. Many configurations allow an additional module to be added if workloads grow beyond that capacity.

What thermal limit appears first during long gaming sessions?

The Intel Core i5-13420H and RTX 5050 share a single cooling stack, so GPU and CPU temperatures rise together and trigger fan speed increases before any component hits its throttle point.

How loud are the fans when the system runs all day?

Under sustained load the dual fans spin up to move heat from the 15.6 inch chassis; at idle they drop to a low whisper suitable for office work.
