15.6 FHD 165Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V pairs a 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 display running at 165 Hz with an Intel Core i5 13420H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 with 8GB GDDR7 VRAM. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD under Windows 11 Home. The 82.64% screen-to-body ratio keeps the chassis compact.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 8-core processor reaches 4.6 GHz on performance cores and 3.4 GHz on efficient cores, fitting 1080p gaming and everyday multitasking. Buyers needing higher core counts, larger storage or a touchscreen should consider other models. Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 handle modern peripherals and networking.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 4.63 lb chassis measures 14.26 x 9.44 x .93 inches, leaving limited volume for prolonged turbo clocks. Under extended load the efficient cores at 1.5 GHz base help manage thermals while the RTX 5050 maintains playable frame rates. Fan noise rises as the cooling system balances CPU and GPU heat.
