Gaming laptop with 165 Hz display

The Acer Nitro V 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel 8-core i5-13420H processor and a dedicated GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. It ships with Windows 11 Home and a 165 Hz IPS panel at 1920x1080 resolution. The system targets players who want high refresh rates in a portable chassis.

Capacity and headroom

32 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD provide ample space for modern titles and multitasking workloads. The 8 GB GDDR7 frame buffer on the RTX 5050 handles 1080p gaming with headroom for higher texture settings. Demanding creative applications or 4K output will exceed the GPU memory and 57 Wh battery capacity.

Thermals noise and power draw

The 57 Wh battery supplies power to the 12-thread CPU and RTX 5050 during unplugged sessions. Under load the cooling system manages heat from the 4.6 GHz boost clock and 440 AI TOPS capability. Fan noise rises with sustained GPU utilisation while the 4.67 pound chassis remains stable on a desk.
