Nitro V 15 gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card. It targets players who want smooth 1080p performance in a portable chassis. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed.

165Hz FHD display and 32GB DDR5

The 15.6 inch IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate and 250 nits brightness, covering 45 percent NTSC colour. The 32GB of DDR5 4800 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD give ample headroom for modern titles and multitasking, while the 6GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the RTX 4050 handles high texture settings at 1080p. Demanding 1440p or 4K workloads will exceed the GPU memory and thermal envelope.

Thunderbolt 4 port and Wi-Fi 6

A single USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port supports 40Gbps data, Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 for external monitors or docks. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 and a combo audio jack round out connectivity. MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7920 with Bluetooth 5.1 provides stable wireless networking. The backlit keyboard improves visibility in low light.

Questions about this item

Will the Thunderbolt 4 port on this laptop drive my older monitor that only has HDMI?

The Thunderbolt 4 port supports DisplayPort 1.4, so you can connect an HDMI monitor using a USB-C to HDMI adapter or cable.

How can I confirm the 165Hz panel is actually running at 165Hz after I set up Windows 11?

Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and verify the refresh rate dropdown shows 165Hz for the built-in screen.

Does the box include a USB-C hub or do I need to buy one to add more USB-A ports?

The package contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation; a USB-C hub is not included and must be purchased separately.
