AI-Enhanced Gaming Laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16 AI is a Copilot+ PC built for gaming and creative work on the move. It pairs an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. The system includes 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. A 16.0 inch WUXGA IPS panel runs at 180 Hz for smooth motion.

Build Integration and Expandability

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home, a 135 W AC adapter and a power cord. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands plus Bluetooth 5.3. A micro SD card slot and an FHD IR webcam are built in. The single installed memory module leaves room to reach the 32 GB maximum capacity. The M.2 2242 SSD slot supports up to 1 TB of storage.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 0.96 in thin plastic chassis weighs 5.36 lb and houses the 8-core CPU with a 5 GHz maximum speed. The RTX 5060 GPU brings 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. Under continuous gaming or rendering loads the cooling system manages heat from both processors while the 180 Hz display maintains responsive visuals. The 135 W adapter supplies power for extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Will the 135 W adapter keep the Ryzen AI 7 350 and RTX 5060 fed during long sessions?

The system ships with a 135 W AC adapter that powers both the 8-core Ryzen AI 7 350 and the GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU; sustained loads will draw up to that rating.

How loud or hot does the ANV16-61-R0YW get when the 180 Hz panel and RTX 5060 run all day?

Acer fits dual fans and multiple heat pipes in the 0.96 in chassis; fan noise rises under load but stays in the typical gaming-laptop range, and surface temperatures remain manageable for lap use.

The spec shows 16 GB DDR5 in one slot — do I need to add a second stick before first boot?

The laptop boots and runs with the single 16 GB DDR5 module installed; the second SO-DIMM slot is free if you later want to expand toward the 32 GB maximum.
