AI gaming laptop for creators

The Acer Nitro V 16 AI gaming laptop pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 240 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU for gaming and AI-driven tasks. The six-core CPU reaches a 5 GHz boost clock while the graphics card delivers 440 AI TOPS and a 95 W MGP. A 16.0 inch WUXGA IPS panel runs at 180 Hz with 100% sRGB coverage for colour-accurate work and smooth motion.

Dual-channel DDR5 and Gen 4 storage

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory occupy two slots and support expansion up to 64 GB. The 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD provides fast load times for large assets and games. Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 handle connectivity without extra dongles. The chassis includes an RGB backlit keyboard and Nitro Sense software for performance tuning.

Advanced dual-fan cooling manages heat

An advanced dual-fan cooling system dissipates heat from the 45 W typical TDP processor and the 95 W GPU during extended sessions. Intelligent fan curves keep noise lower in lighter workloads while maintaining thermal headroom for sustained boost clocks. The power profile balances performance and acoustics for typical gaming and creative sessions.

Questions about this item

How long can the Ryzen 5 240 hold its 5 GHz boost before thermals throttle it back?

The CPU runs at a 45 W typical TDP with a dual-fan cooling system, so sustained 5 GHz boost duration depends on workload and chassis airflow.

What fan noise and surface temperatures should I expect after hours of gaming?

The advanced dual-fan cooling handles the 95 W GPU MGP plus the 45 W CPU, keeping noise moderate and palm-rest temperatures comfortable during extended sessions.

Does the laptop ship with both DDR5 slots populated or is one free for an upgrade?

It comes with 16 GB DDR5 across two slots, supporting up to 64 GB total, so both slots are occupied from the factory.
