Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop 240H RTX 5050 64GB 2TB

Built for high-refresh gaming

The Acer Nitro V 16 pairs a 16.0 inch 1920 x 1200 IPS panel running at 180Hz with an Intel Core 7 240H 10-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics with 8GB video memory. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 4800 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD give ample space for modern titles and multitasking. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Ports and chassis for daily use

A black chassis measuring 14.17 x 10.81 x 0.96 inches and weighing 5.29 pounds holds two USB-A 3.2 ports, two Type-C 3.2 ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, a microSD card reader and a headset jack. A backlit keyboard and 802.11ac Wi-Fi 6 handle input and wireless connectivity. No fingerprint reader is present.

Limits of the 180Hz panel and mobile GPU

The 180Hz refresh rate caps visible frame updates, so frame rates above that threshold will not appear smoother on the built-in display. The RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8GB memory sets the ceiling for texture resolution and ray-tracing workloads in current games. DDR5 4800 memory speed and the PCIe SSD interface define the maximum data throughput for the CPU and storage subsystem.
