16 inch 180Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16 is a Windows 11 gaming laptop built around a 16.0 inch WUXGA panel running at 180Hz. It pairs an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 six‑core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU carrying 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. 32 GB of DDR5 4800 system memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD complete the core specification.

Ready to use out of the box

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home pre‑installed and all drivers configured, so no assembly or software setup is required. The chassis is sealed by the manufacturer; opening it to add storage or memory will void the original warranty unless performed by authorised personnel.

Competitive gamers wanting high refresh rates

The 180Hz display and RTX 5060 suit players who prioritise smooth motion in fast‑paced titles at 1920 x 1200 resolution. Buyers needing more than 512 GB of storage, a larger screen, or a higher‑tier GPU for 1440p or 4K gaming should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Will the 16-inch 180Hz panel work well with the RTX 5060 for competitive shooters?

The 1920 x 1200 display refreshes at 180Hz, so the RTX 5060 can push high frame rates in esports titles without being bottlenecked by the panel.

Does the single 512GB PCIe drive leave room for a large game library, or should I plan a second drive?

512GB holds the OS and a handful of modern AAA games; adding a second PCIe SSD is straightforward if you need more space.

Can the 32GB DDR5 4800 memory be upgraded later, or is it soldered?

The system ships with 32GB of DDR5 4800; whether modules are replaceable depends on the specific board layout, so check the service manual before buying extra sticks.
