Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop Intel Core 7 240H RTX 5050 32GB DDR5 4TB PCIe 16 180Hz

16-inch WUXGA 180Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16 pairs a 16.0-inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate. An Intel Core 7 240H processor with 10 cores and up to 5.2GHz boost clock drives the system. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics with 8GB video memory handle rendering. 32GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 4TB PCIe SSD provide capacity for large game libraries. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Ports and connectivity checklist

Verify that your peripherals match the available ports: two USB-A 3.2, two Type-C 3.2, one USB 2.0, one HDMI, one RJ45 Ethernet, one MicroSD card slot and a headset jack. The laptop includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth for wireless links. A 720p webcam and backlit keyboard are built in. There is no fingerprint reader or optical drive. The chassis measures 14.17 x 10.81 x .96 inches and weighs 5.29 pounds.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

The 10-core CPU and RTX 5050 GPU share a compact 0.96-inch thick chassis, so prolonged gaming or rendering sessions will push the cooling system continuously. Fan speeds and surface temperatures rise noticeably after several minutes of full utilisation. Performance may settle below peak boost clocks once thermal limits are reached. Ensure the rear and side vents remain unobstructed during extended use.
