16-inch 180Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16 combines a 16.0-inch FHD+ display running at 180Hz with an Intel Core 9 270H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8 GB GDDR7 GPU. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The chassis measures 14.17 by 0.96 by 10.81 inches and weighs 5.3 pounds. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional use.

Upgrade installation and common issues

The unit arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers who install the 32GB DDR5 kit and 1TB PCIe SSD before testing. RAM and storage upgrades carry a separate one-year warranty; remaining components keep the original one-year manufacturer warranty. The only reported fitting issue is the single SODIMM slot layout, which forces a full module replacement rather than an additive upgrade.

Pre-order compatibility checks

Verify that your workflow benefits from the 14-core, 20-thread CPU running at 2.7 GHz base and 5.8 GHz max turbo. Confirm the port selection — one Thunderbolt 4 USB-C with 65W charging, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet and a headset jack — matches your peripherals. Ensure the 1920 by 1200 resolution and 180Hz refresh rate suit your gaming or content targets. Check that Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth coverage meets your wireless needs.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 180Hz panel is running at 180Hz after setup?

What ships inside the box and what must I add myself?

The laptop, AC adapter and documentation are included; the 32GB DDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD are installed by the shop before dispatch, so no extra parts are needed.

Which configuration should I pick if I want the 32GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD version?

Select the listing that shows 32GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD; the base unit comes with 16GB and 512GB, and the shop upgrades it to 32GB and 1TB before shipping.
