Acer Nitro V 16S gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16S is a 16 inch Windows 11 laptop built around an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 eight-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD. The 16.0 inch WQXGA display runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate.

Installation and common issues

The unit arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers for the memory and storage configuration, so no end-user assembly is required. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and ready to use. The only routine step is checking for driver updates for the GPU and the Wi-Fi 6E adapter after the first boot.

Best fit and alternatives

This machine suits gamers and creators who want a high-refresh WQXGA panel, eight-core AI-enhanced CPU performance and 12 GB of GDDR7 video memory in a 4.8 pound chassis. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a fingerprint reader or a multi-format SD card reader should consider other models.
