Acer Nitro V 16S gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16S is a 16.0 inch Windows 11 Pro laptop built around an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 8-core processor that reaches 5.0 GHz. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB GDDR7 drives the 2560 x 1600 180 Hz WQXGA panel. The system ships with 64 GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Creative professionals and competitive gamers who need high refresh rates and large memory capacity will benefit from the 180 Hz display and 64 GB RAM. Buyers seeking a touchscreen, a fingerprint reader, or a multi-format SD card reader should consider other models because those features are absent. The 4.6 pound chassis also limits ultra-portable use cases.

The specification that decides fit

The 8 GB GDDR7 video memory on the RTX 5070 sets the ceiling for texture-heavy workloads and modern titles at 2560 x 1600. If your workflow demands more GPU memory, this configuration will not scale further.
