Processor and Display

The Acer Nitro V ANV15-52-586Z is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU. The Full HD IPS panel runs at 165 Hz for smooth motion in fast titles. It ships with Windows 11 Home and 8 GB of DDR5 memory in a single module.

Thermals and Power

Dual fans and an effective exhaust system move heat away from the CPU and GPU during extended sessions. The cooling layout keeps surface temperatures manageable while fan noise stays controlled under typical gaming loads. Power draw scales with the 4050 GPU and 13420H processor without requiring extreme voltage.

Connectivity and Build

The chassis measures 14.26 inches wide by 9.44 inches deep and stands between .62 and .93 inches high at a weight of 4.66 lbs. Ports include Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1 and wired Ethernet for low-latency networking. Wi-Fi 6 handles wireless traffic, and the full-size backlit keyboard supports late-night use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the second DDR5 module to reach 32 GB and which slot do I use?

Open the base, insert the new stick into the empty DDR5 slot at an angle, then press down until the clips click; the original 8 GB module stays in place.

When will the 512 GB PCIe 4.0 drive need replacing and what fits the M.2 2242 slot?

Replace it when capacity runs low or SMART health drops; any M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD will fit the single slot.

At what point does the dual-fan cooling hit its limit during long sessions?

Sustained loads push the dual fans and exhaust to maximum airflow; surface temperatures near the hinge rise first, signalling thermal saturation.
