The Acer Nitro V pairs a 15.6 inch Full HD panel running at 165 Hz with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics. It targets gamers and creators who want smooth motion in a portable chassis. The 82.64 percent screen-to-body ratio keeps the footprint compact for a 15.6 inch device.

Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory provides headroom for modern titles, streaming and multitasking without paging. The 1024 GB solid-state drive holds a large game library and project files with fast load times. Buyers who want more storage or user-accessible memory slots should check upgrade options before purchase.

Cooling and power in normal use

Acer describes the thermal design as staying cool under pressure during typical gaming sessions. The 4-cell lithium-ion battery supports mobile use away from mains power. The 13420H processor runs performance cores up to 4.6 GHz and efficient cores up to 3.4 GHz within the laptop's power envelope.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" 165 Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 port drive my older 1080p monitor at its native refresh rate?

The HDMI 2.1 output can transmit a 1920 x 1080 signal at up to 165 Hz, so any 1080p display that accepts that rate over HDMI will run at its maximum refresh without an adapter.

How can I verify the i5-13420H and RTX 4050 are performing as expected after first boot?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab to confirm 8 cores (4 P-cores up to 4.6 GHz, 4 E-cores up to 3.4 GHz), 32 GB DDR5 at rated speed, and a dedicated 6 GB RTX 4050 GPU listed under GPU 0.

The bundle mentions an HDMI cable; does the box also include the 1024 GB SSD and 32 GB DDR5 already installed, or must I add them?

The laptop ships with the 1024 GB SSD and 32 GB DDR5 pre-installed; the only extra item in the bundle is the HDMI cable.
