Acer Predator Helios 18 AI PH18-73-962W 18" 120Hz Mini LED 4K RTX 5090 64GB DDR5 8TB gaming

Purpose-built mobile workstation

The Acer Predator Helios 18 AI PH18-73-962W is an 18-inch gaming laptop built around a 15th Gen Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 24GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM and an 8TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 18.0-inch Mini LED panel runs at 3840x2400 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Engineers, researchers and content creators who need desktop-class compute and graphics in a single chassis will benefit from the 24-core CPU and 24GB VRAM. The 99 WHr battery and 400W power supply support extended sessions away from a desk. Buyers who prioritise thin-and-light portability, longer unplugged runtime or a lower acquisition cost should consider smaller alternatives.

The specification that decides fit

The 120Hz Mini LED 4K display defines the visual experience; its 3840x2400 pixel density and high refresh rate determine whether the system matches your workflow for colour-critical work or competitive gaming. If that panel specification meets your needs, the supporting hardware is sized to drive it.
