Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 gaming laptop, 14.5" WQXGA+ 165Hz, Ultra 9 185H, RTX 4070 8GB

Compact 14.5-inch gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 combines a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB GPU in a 14.5-inch chassis. It ships with 16GB DDR5 memory, a 512GB PCIe SSD and Windows 11 Home. The 3072 x 1920 display runs at 165Hz for smooth motion in fast-paced titles.

Black aluminium build with versatile I/O

The black finish covers a frame measuring 12.76 by 10.05 by 0.77 inches and weighing 4.19 pounds. Two USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB-C 3.2 ports, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and a MicroSD card reader handle peripherals, external displays and wired networking without dongles. An RGB backlit keyboard and 720p webcam support streaming and late-night sessions.

165Hz WQXGA+ panel decides fit

The 14.5-inch 3072 x 1920 165Hz screen is the single spec that determines whether this laptop matches the buyer's workflow. Creative work benefits from the tall 16:10 aspect and high pixel density, while competitive gaming gains from the refresh rate. Buyers needing higher resolution or a larger canvas should look elsewhere.
