16-inch OLED 240 Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI pairs a 16.0-inch WQXGA OLED panel at 240 Hz with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and GeForce RTX 5060 graphics. It targets gamers and creators who want high refresh-rate colour accuracy in a portable 2025 chassis.

Upgrade from 60 Hz panels and previous-gen GPUs

Moving from a standard 60 Hz IPS display to this 240 Hz OLED with 100% DCI-P3 coverage transforms motion clarity and colour volume. The jump is worth it when you play competitive titles or edit HDR content that benefits from the 500-nit peak brightness and G-SYNC synchronisation.

Practical limits of Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1

The single Thunderbolt 4 port and HDMI 2.1 output share total display bandwidth, so driving multiple high-refresh external monitors may hit the interface ceiling. PCIe Gen 4 x4 storage tops out at the 4TB NVMe SSD fitted, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless throughput depends on router capability and spectrum congestion.
