Ready for gaming, streaming and editing

The Acer Predator Orion 5000 PO5-655-UR12 pairs an Intel Core i7-14700F 20-Core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card. The CPU reaches up to 5.4 GHz and is supported by 16 GB of DDR5-4400 memory. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on the 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

Capacity and headroom

The 12 GB GDDR6X video memory and 1 TB solid-state drive handle modern titles and creative workloads at high settings. System memory can be expanded to 64 GB across four slots. The 2.5 GbE Killer Ethernet E3100G and Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 provide fast wired and wireless connectivity. Storage headroom ends at the single installed drive.

Upgrade path from entry systems

This desktop replaces older pre-built PCs that rely on integrated graphics or previous-generation GPUs. The jump is worthwhile when 12 GB of dedicated video memory and a 20-core CPU are needed for 1440p or 4K gaming. Buyers who want more internal drive bays or a larger chassis should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will my older monitors work with the RTX 4070 Ti's 3 x DisplayPort 1.4a and 1 x HDMI 2.1 ports?

Yes — the card provides three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs and one HDMI 2.1 port, so monitors using either standard will connect directly.

How can I verify the Core i7-14700F is reaching its 5.4 GHz boost after assembly?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a hardware monitor such as HWInfo and watch the clock speed climb to 5.4 GHz under load.

Does the box include a keyboard and mouse, or must I buy them separately?

A Predator RGB gaming keyboard and Predator RGB gaming mouse are both included in the box.
