Purpose-built gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Triton 16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7-13700H 14-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe SSD. The chassis measures 14.11 x 10.33 x 0.78 inches and weighs 5.29 pounds in silver.

240Hz WQXGA G-SYNC display

The 16.0-inch panel runs at 240Hz with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nits brightness and 100% sRGB coverage. G-SYNC support keeps motion smooth in fast-paced titles. An anti-glare coating and thin bezels improve visibility during extended sessions.

Suits competitive gamers wanting high refresh rates

Buyers who need more than 512GB of fast storage or prefer a larger screen for content creation should look elsewhere. The 16GB DDR5 configuration is fixed, so users planning heavy multitasking beyond this capacity will need a different system.

Questions about this item

What does the 240 Hz refresh rate deliver in actual gameplay?

The 16 inch WQXGA panel refreshes at 240 Hz with G-SYNC, so fast motion stays smooth and tear-free during competitive gaming.

How does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port limit external display bandwidth?

That port runs at 10 Gbps and carries DisplayPort video, capping an external monitor to the bandwidth of a single 10 Gbps lane.

Will the chassis fit a standard 16 inch laptop sleeve?

The body measures 14.11 by 10.33 by 0.78 inches and weighs 5.29 pounds, so a sleeve sized for a 16 inch slim laptop will accommodate it.
