14.5″ OLED laptop for AI-assisted creative work

The Acer Swift X 14 pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU and 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory. A 1 TB solid-state drive stores project files and applications. The 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED panel runs at 120 Hz and carries Calman Verified and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certifications. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Creators who want local AI acceleration

The MUX switch and NVIDIA Studio validation suit artists, video editors and developers running Stable Diffusion or similar workloads on the device. DLSS 3.5 with AI-powered Ray Reconstruction helps with graphically demanding scenes. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of memory or a larger screen for multi-timeline editing should look elsewhere.

Thin chassis that needs external cooling headroom

The 16 GB of memory is soldered, so capacity cannot be increased after purchase. The MUX switch lets the discrete GPU drive the internal display directly for lower latency. A fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard support secure, low-light work. The memory card slot provides a direct ingest path for camera media without an adapter.

Questions about this item

What display interface or cable is needed to drive the 14.5" 2880 x 1800 120Hz OLED panel at its native resolution?

The panel is built into the chassis, so no external cable or adapter is required to run it at 2880 x 1800 and 120 Hz.

Will the RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with MUX switch work properly alongside an older external monitor that only supports 60 Hz?

Yes, the GPU can drive a 60 Hz external display while the internal OLED runs at 120 Hz; the MUX switch lets you choose discrete-only output for lower latency.

How can I verify that the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and RTX 4060 are both active after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab — you will see the Core Ultra 7 155H with 16 threads and the RTX 4060 listed as GPU 0 with dedicated video memory.
