Triton 500 SE-16 high-performance mobile workstation

The Triton 500 SE-16 pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 laptop GPU and 64GB DDR4 memory. A 16.0 inch 165Hz Wide QXGA display delivers 2560x1600 resolution for colour-accurate creative work and smooth gaming. Dual 8TB PCIe NVMe SSDs provide 16TB of fast storage capacity. Windows 11 Pro supports professional workflows out of the box.

230W power supply and 99 WHr battery thermal balance

The 230W adapter feeds the eight-core CPU and dedicated GDDR6 graphics under sustained load. A 4-cell 99 WHr battery supplies mobile runtime for mixed workloads. The grey chassis integrates a 720p webcam, fingerprint reader and three-zone RGB keyboard. Connectivity includes 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and wired Ethernet for flexible network access.

Atlas Backpack adds organised, protected transport

The included Atlas backpack uses water-resistant 1680D polyester with a padded notebook compartment. Three zippered sections separate accessories, documents and personal items. An anti-RFID theft compartment shields contactless cards and passports. The pack fits the 5.4lb laptop and 230W power brick without forcing the zipper or stressing the shoulder straps.

Questions about this item

How do I install an extra NVMe drive in the Triton 500 SE-16 and what step is often missed?

Open the base, insert the NVMe stick at an angle into the free M.2 slot, press down and secure with the tiny screw; the step people miss is re-enabling the drive in BIOS so Windows sees the new 8 TB volume.

What maintenance will the 99 WHr battery and thermal paste need later?

Expect the 4-cell 99 WHr pack to lose noticeable capacity after two to three years of daily cycles; plan a paste refresh on the i7-11800H and RTX 3070 dies at the same interval to keep temperatures steady.

Which limit appears first during a long gaming session on the 165 Hz 2560x1600 panel?

The GPU 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills before the 230 W adapter throttles, so texture-heavy titles at 165 Hz hit VRAM capacity first and force quality drops.
