Acer Vero B247W E5 24" WUXGA IPS Monitor

The Acer Vero B247W E5 is a 24-inch class monitor built around an IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution. It targets office workers and students who need extra vertical space for documents, spreadsheets or code. The LED backlight delivers 16.7 million colours for everyday colour accuracy. Its cabinet is finished in black.

Installation and common issues

Connect the monitor using the HDMI port for a straightforward digital signal. The 16:10 ratio may add pillarbox bars when viewing standard 16:9 video content. Ensure your operating system detects the 1920 x 1200 native resolution to avoid scaling blur. Cable management is simple with a single video lead.

Sustained load behaviour

The IPS panel maintains consistent colour and viewing angles during long work sessions. Adaptive Sync helps reduce tearing if the content frame rate varies. The LED backlight provides stable brightness without the warm-up drift seen in older CCFL units. The 16:10 workspace stays comfortable for extended reading or coding tasks.
