What this COB strip does

The Aclorol 8mm-5V-320D is a 2 metre COB LED strip that runs from a 5 V USB port and emits blue light at 320 LEDs per metre. It is built for indoor ambient lighting such as under-cabinet, TV backlight or display-shelf accents where a smooth, dot-free line is preferred.

Check your mounting surface and power

The strip uses a 3M self-adhesive backing that bonds best to clean, dry and smooth surfaces; dust, texture or moisture will weaken the hold. You must supply a USB port or charger block able to deliver the strip's 9 W per metre draw, and the fixed 3.28 ft power cord limits how far the strip can sit from that USB source.

Included hardware and what you add

The reel comes with the pre-applied adhesive tape and a USB power lead, but no controller or dimmer is bundled so colour-changing or brightness control requires a separate purchase. The strip can be cut every 2.5 cm at marked lines, letting you shorten the 2 metre length without soldering.
