What the pump is and who it serves

Action Pump EZ-5 is a hand-operated, food-grade pail pump designed for 5- and 6-gallon containers. It moves lubricants, oils, high-viscosity fluids, food products, dyes and mild acids without an external power source. The unit suits small workshops, food-preparation areas and light-industrial sites that need portable, contamination-free transfer.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Operators who want a simple, manually driven pump for occasional batch transfers will find it practical. Buyers who require electric or air-driven operation, automated metering, or compatibility with larger drums cannot use this model. It is also unsuitable for highly corrosive chemicals or continuous high-volume dispensing.

The specification that decides fit

The pump is built for 5-gallon and 6-gallon pails only. If your containers are a different size, the pump will not seat or seal correctly, so verify the pail capacity before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the EZ-5 for a 5-gallon or a 6-gallon pail?

The pump fits both 5-gallon and 6-gallon pails, so select it for either size without needing a different model.

What volume does each stroke move when the pump is in a real machine?

Each full stroke of the hand lever delivers roughly one pint of fluid, giving a steady, measurable flow without electricity.

What interface does the pump use and what viscosity does that cap in practice?

The 2-inch bung-thread interface seals standard pail openings and handles lubricants, oils and high-viscosity fluids up to the thickness of heavy gear oil.
