What it does and who uses it

The Acumen Disc CrossOver BD is a standalone multimedia duplicator that copies between USB, CompactFlash, Secure Digital and Memory Stick cards and CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs. It runs without a computer and supports one source reader plus six target writers for disc-to-disc jobs.

Check before you buy

Ensure your source material fits on a single CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc and that the destination media match the formats listed. The unit reads one card or disc at a time and writes to six discs simultaneously at the rated speeds.

Ideal for archives, not high-volume labs

This duplicator suits users who need bi-directional conversion between flash memory and optical media in a secure, offline workflow. It is not for buyers who require networked automation, robotic loading or simultaneous multi-source duplication.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the AD06-MMPBD and what must I buy separately?

The unit includes one reader drive and six writer drives for disc-to-disc copying, plus slots for USB, CF, SD and Memory Stick media. Blank CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs and any flash memory cards are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which version or capacity of the CrossOver BD should I choose for my workload?

The AD06-MMPBD is a single model with a fixed 1-to-6 target configuration; there are no alternative capacities or versions listed. Choose it if you need to duplicate up to six discs at once or convert between flash media and optical discs in one standalone device.

What does the 16X BD-R speed mean when I am actually burning discs?

Each of the six writers can record a single-layer BD-R at up to 16X speed, so a full disc finishes in roughly six minutes per target when the source data can sustain the 33 MB/s transfer rate.
