Adafruit Rear View Backup Camera for Ford Mustang 2015-2023 2 in 1 Accessories

Ford Mustang 2015-2023 Compatibility

This backup camera is designed specifically for Ford Mustang models from 2015 through 2023. It replaces the original equipment part numbers FR3Z-19G490-A and FO1960121C. The unit integrates with the factory Park Assist System to provide rear-view visibility. Buyers with other vehicle makes or model years outside this range cannot use this camera.

CAPA and FMVSS111 Compliance Limits

The camera meets CAPA certification and FMVSS111 regulatory standards for safety and performance. Its viewing angles reach 170 degrees diagonal, 135 degrees horizontal and 102 degrees vertical. Image clarity is rated at 800TVL with low-light sensitivity down to 0.1 lux. The IP69K rating and operating range of -40 to 105 degrees define the environmental limits of the housing and electronics.

Direct OE Replacement Installation

Installation follows the original equipment mounting points and electrical connectors for a direct swap. The high-strength plastic casing aligns with factory brackets, requiring no modification to the vehicle body. Common issues include overlooking the special fitment notes for specific trim levels or failing to verify the reference numbers 590-434 and PAC11 before ordering, which leads to returns for incompatibility.
