Product identity

The Adafruit Seahorse 85 is a yellow laptop micro case designed to protect a single device from water, dust and impact. It suits anyone who carries a laptop in wet, dirty or rough environments and needs a compact, rugged enclosure.

Installation and common issues

The case is ready to use straight from the box; simply open the rust‑proof hinges, place the laptop on the shock‑absorbent padded liner and close the lid until the o‑ring seats. The most frequent problem is an improperly seated o‑ring, which breaks the waterproof seal and voids the lifetime guarantee.

Pre‑purchase checks

Verify that your laptop fits within the internal dimensions of the 85 model before ordering. Confirm you can maintain the o‑ring in undamaged condition and that you do not need to modify the case, as alterations void the guarantee.
