Everyday recording tape
This 10-pack of TDK D120 normal-bias cassettes supplies blank media for voice capture and general audio archiving. Each tape runs 120 minutes total, split evenly across two sides. The low-noise formulation keeps hiss down during frequent re-recording sessions. Students, journalists and hobbyists who still work with analogue decks will find the format familiar and reliable.
Deck compatibility only
The cassettes require a standard compact-cassette recorder or player with normal-bias (Type I) support. No power supply, software or digital interface is involved; the media simply slots into the transport mechanism. They free up digital storage by moving lectures, dictation or vinyl dubs onto physical tape. Builders of modern solid-state or cloud-based workflows cannot use these without a legacy deck.
120 minutes per tape
A single cassette holds up to 60 minutes per side, giving two hours of continuous mono or stereo recording. Ten tapes therefore provide 20 hours of total capacity before new media are needed. The normal-bias coating handles repeated overwrite cycles well, but high-frequency response and dynamic range remain limited compared with digital formats. When the 120-minute limit is reached the tape must be flipped or replaced.
