Built for Multi-Threaded Workloads

This desktop pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with 128 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD. Integrated Radeon graphics handle display output through HDMI and two USB4 ports. A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under continuous load while Windows 11 Pro runs on a Prime X870 motherboard.

Suited to Compile Farms and Virtualisation

The 24-thread CPU and large memory pool suit developers running many containers or heavy compilation jobs. Buyers who need discrete GPU acceleration for rendering, machine-learning training or high-refresh gaming should consider a different system. The integrated graphics cannot drive those workloads.

Sustained Thermal Headroom

Liquid cooling and an 850 W Bronze-rated power supply maintain consistent clocks during long multi-core runs. The Samsung 990 PRO SSD delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s without throttling. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5 Gbps Ethernet keep network throughput high for distributed tasks.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket and chipset must the system use for the Ryzen 9 9900X3D to operate?

The processor requires an AM5 socket on the X870 PRIME motherboard included in this build.

Can I add a discrete graphics card later while keeping the integrated Radeon graphics active?

Yes, the X870 board provides a full-size PCIe slot; installing a discrete GPU will typically disable the integrated Radeon output automatically.

How do I verify the 240 mm liquid cooler is running after first boot?

Check the pump RPM in BIOS or monitoring software and confirm CPU temperatures stay near idle levels under light load.
