Adamant Custom 12-Core Workstation

This desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a 240mm liquid cooler. A GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card drives the visual output. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and is built inside a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass chassis.

Upgrade from air-cooled or lower-core builds

The liquid cooler and 12-core CPU replace air-cooled 8-core or 6-core configurations that throttle under sustained multi-threaded loads. The jump is worth it when render queues, compile jobs or simultaneous streams exceed the thermal headroom of smaller coolers and fewer threads.

128GB DDR5 and 11TB combined storage

The 128GB kit handles large scene files, virtual-machine clusters and heavy multitasking without paging. The 1TB NVMe drive holds the OS and active projects at up to 7450 MB/s read. The 10TB hard drive stores archives and media libraries. Memory can expand to 192GB if workloads grow beyond the current capacity.

Questions about this item

What case clearance is needed for the 240 mm liquid cooler radiator?

The Corsair 4000D case measures 490 mm deep by 239 mm wide by 486 mm high, providing standard 240 mm top or front radiator mounting space.

How is the 240 mm AIO cooler installed on the AM5 socket, and what step is often missed?

Mount the supplied AM5 bracket to the motherboard backplate, apply thermal paste, seat the cold plate, then connect the pump header and radiator fan cables — forgetting the pump power cable is the common oversight.

Which storage bays remain free for future drive upgrades?

The case includes two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays; one 3.5-inch bay holds the 10 TB HDD and one M.2 slot holds the 1 TB NVMe SSD, leaving one 3.5-inch bay, two 2.5-inch bays and three M.2 slots available.
