12-Core Workstation for AI and Rendering

This desktop combines a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The system targets professionals who need high core counts and large memory capacity for modelling, editing and AI learning workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 2TB NVMe SSD.

Liquid Cooling and High-Speed Storage Bundle

A 240mm liquid CPU cooler keeps the processor at stable temperatures during sustained compute tasks. The Samsung 990 PRO SSD delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6900 MB/s over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link. A 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity for project archives.

PCIe 4.0 and USB4 Interface Limits

The graphics card and primary SSD both operate on PCI Express 4.0 lanes, capping their maximum throughput at that generation's bandwidth. Rear USB4 ports provide 40Gbps connectivity, while the motherboard also supplies USB 10Gbps and 5Gbps headers. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet handle network traffic without saturating the internal bus.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler need its coolant refreshed or the pump replaced during the life of the Ryzen 9 9900X3D?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit; no coolant refresh is required. Pump life typically exceeds the CPU's useful service period, so replacement is not expected under normal operation.

What thermal or power limit will the RTX 5080 16 GB hit first when running sustained compute or gaming loads?

The GPU will reach its programmed power ceiling before thermal throttling engages, because the 1000 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and case airflow keep temperatures within the card's specified operating range.

How loud does the 140 mm PSU fan and the 240 mm AIO radiator fan get when the system runs all day at full load?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1000 W Gold unit uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan, and the AIO is a Quiet Edition model; together they produce low background noise even during extended high-load sessions.
