14-Core Liquid Cooled Workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 245K processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an 8TB NVMe storage array. A 240mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals while the RTX 5070 12GB GPU handles graphics workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro on a Z890 motherboard.

Sustained Load Thermal Behaviour

The 240mm Quiet Edition AIO cooler uses a 140mm fan rated at 1500rpm and 30dBA to dissipate heat from the 14-core processor during extended sessions. Front and rear 140mm case fans operate at the same speed and noise level to maintain airflow across the motherboard and dual Samsung 990 PRO SSDs. The Thermaltake Smart 750W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection for stable delivery.

Interface Practical Limits

Rear I/O provides one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, one USB 20Gbps Type-C port, three USB 10Gbps ports and three USB 5Gbps ports. Internal headers add another USB 20Gbps Type-C, one USB 5Gbps and two USB 2.0 connections. Networking uses Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi 7 2x2 and Bluetooth5.4. Four M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s ports define the storage expansion ceiling.

Questions about this item

How loud are the 140 mm case fans running at 1500 rpm all day?

Each fan is rated at 30 dBA at 1500 rpm, so the pair at the front and the single rear fan stay at that level under sustained load.

Which display cables must I already own for the RTX 5070?

The RTX 5070 uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; have the matching cables for your monitor ready.

Will my older SATA SSDs or hard drives work inside this Ceres 300 case?

The motherboard provides four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case has a bay that accepts one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch drives.
