Liquid-cooled 14-core workstation

This desktop pairs a 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 245K with 192GB DDR5 and a 2TB NVMe SSD, all cooled by a 240mm liquid loop. The Z890 motherboard adds Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 for high-speed peripherals. It targets creators and engineers who need sustained multi-thread performance in a quiet chassis.

Bundled cooler and connectivity

The 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU near base clocks during long renders without the noise of large air towers. Rear I/O supplies Thunderbolt 4, USB 20Gbps Type-C and 2.5Gb Ethernet so external storage and networks do not bottleneck the platform. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and licensed for professional workloads.

Interface and power limits

The 750W Bronze PSU caps total system draw, so adding a second GPU or many high-wattage drives is not feasible. Four M.2 slots exist but only the primary runs at PCIe 4.0x4 speeds; additional drives share chipset bandwidth. The case fits two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays, limiting bulk storage expansion.

Questions about this item

How often will the 240 mm liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service?

The sealed AIO is maintenance-free for its rated life; no user coolant changes or pump servicing are required.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during prolonged heavy workloads?

The 750 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU limits sustained draw before the CPU or GPU reach their thermal thresholds.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the case fans and PSU when the system runs all day?

Two 200 mm front fans, one 120 mm rear fan and a 140 mm PSU fan run at low RPM, keeping acoustics quiet and case temperatures moderate under continuous load.
