16-Core Liquid-Cooled Workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with 64GB DDR5 and a 360mm liquid cooler inside a mid-tower case. It targets creators and gamers who need high multi-thread throughput and quiet thermal headroom in a single pre-built system.

Installation and common pitfalls

The machine ships assembled with Windows 11 Pro so first boot is immediate. Builders adding storage must use the two 3.5-inch bays or the four M.2 slots on the X870 motherboard; the 850W Bronze PSU uses fixed cables so cable routing space behind the motherboard tray is limited.

Interface and capacity limits

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over PCIe 4.0 x4. The RTX 5060 provides 8GB VRAM, which caps texture pools in 4K workloads, while the board’s USB4 ports peak at 40Gbps and the 2.5Gb Ethernet link limits wired throughput.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the liquid cooler is running correctly once the system is assembled?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO should show pump and fan speeds in the motherboard BIOS or monitoring software, and CPU temperatures should stay well below the 5.70 GHz boost ceiling under load.

What components are included and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the Antec P20 mid-tower case with three 120 mm front fans, TUF X870-PLUS motherboard, Ryzen 9 9950X CPU with pre-installed liquid cooler, 64 GB DDR5 memory, 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD, 10 TB HDD, RTX 5060 8 GB graphics card, 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU, and Windows 11 Pro; you only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Which memory capacity should I choose if I want room to expand later?

The board has four DDR5 slots and supports up to 192 GB, so the installed 64 GB kit leaves three slots free for future upgrades.
