16-Core Ryzen 9 Workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D with 32GB DDR5 and a 2TB NVMe SSD for high-thread creative and simulation workloads. The X870 AORUS motherboard and 850W PSU support the 4.3GHz base processor with headroom for sustained loads. It targets professionals who need multi-core throughput in a managed thermal envelope.

Custom Build With 360mm AIO

The 360mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU within thermal limits during extended renders or compiles. A 2TB Samsung 990 PRO drive delivers 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for large asset streaming. Four DDR5 slots allow expansion to 192GB without replacing modules. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet handle modern network demands.

PCIe 4.0 Storage And GPU Limits

The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB connects via PCIe 4.0, capping bandwidth for compute tasks that saturate the bus. The 2TB NVMe drive also uses PCIe 4.0 x4, sharing lane budget with the GPU on this platform. Builders needing PCIe 5.0 storage speeds or dual high-bandwidth cards should plan around the X870 lane allocation.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service later?

The sealed 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is maintenance-free; no coolant top-ups or pump servicing are required during its normal lifespan.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during prolonged all-core workloads?

The 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D at up to 5.70 GHz will reach its thermal envelope before the 850 W Bronze PSU or the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB GPU become limiting factors.

How loud and hot does the system get when the 140 mm PSU fan and three 120 mm case fans run continuously?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan, and the 360 mm AIO plus three front 120 mm fans are designed for low-noise operation under sustained load.
