16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X Workstation

This desktop combines a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 48GB DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It targets creators and gamers who need strong multi-threaded compute and modern GPU features in a liquid-cooled tower running Windows 11 Pro.

PCIe 4.0 Storage and Connectivity Limits

The 1TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD operates over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s. The X870 motherboard provides four M.2 slots, two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, and Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi 7 wireless.

48GB Memory Headroom and Expandability

The 48GB DDR5 kit fills two of four slots, leaving room to reach the board's 192GB maximum. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply supports the current CPU and GPU with overhead for additional drives or memory, while the 360mm liquid cooler handles the 16-core thermal load.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 48 GB DDR5 configuration or add more memory later?

The system ships with 48 GB DDR5 across four slots and the motherboard supports up to 192 GB, so you can start with the factory capacity and expand when workloads demand it.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core 4.3 GHz base clock deliver in daily use?

Sixteen cores and a 4.3 GHz base provide strong multi-thread throughput for rendering, compilation and heavy multitasking, while the 5.70 GHz boost handles bursty single-thread tasks.

How fast is the Samsung 990 PRO 1 TB NVMe drive on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface?

The drive reaches sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, so large project loads and game level streaming stay quick.
