Purpose-built workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a sixteen-core Ryzen 9 9950X processor with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card and 192GB of DDR5 memory. It is aimed at creators and developers who need sustained multi-threaded throughput alongside modern GPU acceleration. Buyers seeking a compact or passively cooled system should look elsewhere.

Storage foundation

Dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes over PCIe 4.0, backed by a 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache. That combination gives fast project loading and deep archival capacity in one chassis. Anyone needing more than 8TB of solid-state space will have to add drives.

Thermal behaviour

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU under continuous load while the case moves air through two 140mm front PWM fans. The Thermaltake Smart 850W Bronze supply includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Questions about this item

What does the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X at 4.3 GHz deliver in a real build?

The 16-core processor runs at a 4.3 GHz base clock and can boost up to 5.70 GHz with 64 MB of L3 cache, giving 32 threads for heavy multitasking and content creation workloads.

How does the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface limit the Samsung 990 PRO drives in this system?

Each 4 TB drive connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s, which is the maximum throughput that generation allows.

What physical space and mounting points does the 360 mm liquid cooler require inside the case?

The 360 mm radiator fits the tower chassis measuring 447 x 215 x 469 mm, using the front 140 mm fan mounts for the three radiator fans and the standard AM5 socket bracket on the motherboard.
