16-Core Ryzen 9 Workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 48GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and uses integrated Intel graphics via HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. It targets professionals who need high multi-threaded CPU performance without a discrete graphics card.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the 16-core CPU during extended workloads while the Thermaltake 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers stable power. The Corsair 4000D chassis provides airflow for the motherboard and storage, and the Samsung 990 PRO SSD maintains sequential read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec under continuous use.

Compatibility Checklist

Verify that your monitors support HDMI or DisplayPort input for the integrated graphics output. Confirm the 490mm depth, 239mm width and 486mm height fit your desk or rack space. The motherboard offers four total DDR5 slots with 192GB maximum capacity if you plan to expand beyond the installed 48GB.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan when the Ryzen 9 9950X runs at full load all day?

The system uses a 360 mm quiet-edition AIO for the CPU and a Thermaltake Smart 850 W unit with a 140 mm low-noise fan; both are designed for ultra-quiet operation under sustained load.

What must I already own to start using this desktop since it has no discrete graphics card?

You need a monitor with an HDMI or DisplayPort input, plus a keyboard and mouse; the integrated GPU drives the display outputs directly from the motherboard.

Can I keep my older SATA SSDs or hard drives and install them inside the Corsair 4000D case?

Yes, the case provides two 3.5" and two 2.5" internal bays, and the PRIME X870-P motherboard includes two SATA 6 Gb/s ports for those drives.
