16-Core Liquid-Cooled Workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with a 360 mm liquid cooler and 64 GB of DDR5 memory. It targets creators and gamers who need strong multi-threaded performance and quiet operation in a single system. The 2 TB NVMe drive and 10 TB hard drive provide both speed and capacity for large projects.

Suits high-core-count workloads, not minimal builds

The 16 cores and 32 threads handle rendering, compilation and heavy multitasking well. Buyers who only need light office work or casual gaming will not use the available compute headroom. The mid-tower case requires desk space and the 850 W power supply adds weight, so portable or space-constrained setups should look elsewhere.

Fast NVMe and massive HDD change daily workflow

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD reaches 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, cutting load times for applications and game assets. The 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache stores raw footage, backups and libraries without constant management. Together they remove the bottleneck of juggling files between external drives.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket must my existing AM5 cooler match to fit the Ryzen 9 9950X?

The CPU uses the AM5 socket; any cooler rated for AM5 will mount correctly.

Will the 850 W PSU still deliver stable power if I keep my older SATA SSDs and hard drives?

Yes, the Thermaltake Smart 850 W unit includes SATA power connectors for legacy drives.

How can I verify the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO is running at its rated PCIe 4.0 x4 speed after setup?

Check the NVMe read and write speeds in Windows Task Manager or CrystalDiskMark; they should approach 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.
