16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X Media Workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 64GB DDR5 memory and an 8TB NVMe storage array. A GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card handles display output. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and uses a 240mm liquid cooler on the CPU.

Ideal for multi-threaded media tasks.

Creators who rely on high core counts for rendering, encoding or compilation will benefit from the 16 cores and 32 threads. The 8TB capacity holds large project libraries. Buyers who need more graphics memory or a higher-tier GPU for 4K gaming or heavy compute should look at other configurations.

X870 AORUS motherboard with Wi-Fi 7 and USB4

The GIGABYTE X870 AORUS board provides rear USB4 ports, 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 2x2 connectivity. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports allow further storage expansion up to the board limits. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers power to all installed components.

Questions about this item

Does this tower need a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse to operate?

Yes — the system ships without a display or input devices, so you must provide your own monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Can I keep using my existing SATA hard drives with the four SATA 6Gb/s ports on the AORUS X870 motherboard?

The board offers four SATA 6Gb/s connectors, so any 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA drive you already own will work without adapters.

How can I confirm the liquid cooler is running after I power on the PC?

Listen for the 240mm radiator fan spinning and check the CPU temperature in Windows 11 Pro — it should stay near idle levels under light load.
