16-Core Ryzen 9 Workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and 8TB of NVMe storage in a tower chassis. A 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply support sustained workloads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Suits multi-threaded production, not pure GPU scale

Creators running virtual machines, heavy timeline editing or large dataset preprocessing gain from the core count and memory ceiling. Gamers or single-threaded CAD users who do not need 192GB of RAM or eight terabytes of fast storage will find simpler builds more cost-effective.

192GB RAM and 8TB NVMe headroom

The four-slot DDR5 array is fully populated at the platform maximum of 192GB, leaving no room for further memory upgrades. Dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, handling large project caches comfortably before a secondary storage tier becomes necessary.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket and chipset does the system need to support the Ryzen 9 9950X3D?

The workstation uses a Gigabyte X870 EAGLE motherboard with an AM5 socket, which is the required platform for the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor.

Can the 850W Bronze power supply handle the RTX 5060 alongside the 16-core CPU and 192GB of DDR5?

Yes, the Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit provides sufficient headroom for the RTX 5060, the 9950X3D, and the full memory configuration.

How do I confirm the Samsung 990 PRO SSDs are running at their advertised PCIe 4.0 speeds after setup?

Open Task Manager or a benchmark tool and verify sequential read speeds near 7450 MB/s and write speeds near 6900 MB/s on the NVMe drives.
