Core specification

This desktop combines a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. It targets content creators and gamers who need high multi-threaded performance and 16 GB of video memory in a single system.

Build integration

The tower chassis uses an ATX motherboard with four DDR5 slots, leaving two free for expansion up to 192 GB. Internal bays provide two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch positions for additional SATA storage. Front-panel I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port alongside standard USB and audio connections.

Thermal and power profile

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply powers the full build. The case moves air through two 140 mm front fans and a quiet-edition pump, keeping noise low during typical workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 5.70 GHz boost during long rendering sessions?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the 9950X3D's thermal output, so sustained all-core loads stay within the cooler's capacity without thermal throttling.

How loud is the system when the Thermaltake 850 W PSU and case fans run continuously?

The PSU uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan and the front Aspect 140 mm PWM fans scale speed with temperature, keeping idle noise low and full-load noise moderate.

Does the motherboard need any extra power cables or adapters beyond what the PSU provides?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W includes all ATX 24-pin, dual EPS 8-pin and PCIe 8-pin connectors required by the X870 TUF board and Radeon RX 9070 XT.
