16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. A 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides fast storage for large project files. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and uses a 240mm liquid cooler for the CPU.

Editors, modellers and AI developers

The 32-thread CPU and 128GB RAM suit video editing, 3D rendering and local AI training workloads that benefit from high core counts and large memory capacity. Buyers who need more than 128GB of memory or multiple graphics cards should consider a different platform. The four memory slots support up to 192GB total if an upgrade is required later.

2TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 SSD

The primary storage is a 2TB NVMe drive rated for sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec. This capacity and speed determine how many active projects fit on the fastest tier without relying on secondary drives. No mechanical hard drive is included in the build.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler need refilling or pump replacement down the line?

The 240 mm quiet-edition AIO is a sealed loop, so no coolant top-ups are required; only the pump or fans would ever need service if they wear out.

What thermal ceiling hits first when the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X runs at 5.70 GHz all day?

The 240 mm AIO’s heat-dissipation capacity becomes the limiting factor before the CPU reaches its own thermal throttle point.

How loud and hot does the Thermaltake Smart 850 W Bronze PSU get under continuous load?

Its 140 mm fan runs ultra-quiet at low RPM, and the 80 PLUS Bronze rating keeps waste heat modest even during extended sessions.
