16-Core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X Workstation

This business desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 192GB DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell graphics card holding 96GB VRAM. A 360mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals inside a sound-dampened mid-tower chassis. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Suited for CAD, CAE and large-model simulation

Engineers running SolidWorks assemblies, CAM toolpaths or multi-physics CAE jobs gain 32 threads, 96GB GPU memory and 8TB NVMe scratch space in one box. Buyers who need more than 192GB system memory or multiple GPU slots should look at a rackmount or dual-socket platform instead.

8TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD storage headroom

Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for active datasets, while the 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache archives completed projects. Four memory slots are fully populated at the 192GB maximum, so further RAM expansion requires a different motherboard.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket and chipset must the system board provide for the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X to operate?

The CPU requires an AM5 socket on an X870 chipset motherboard, which this build supplies with the Gigabyte X870 Eagle board.

Can the four DDR5 slots accept additional memory beyond the 192 GB already installed?

No, the board has four total slots and the 192 GB kit already reaches the platform maximum, so no further modules can be added.

How can I verify the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell is running with its full 96 GB VRAM after assembly?

Open Windows Task Manager or NVIDIA Control Panel and confirm the GPU shows 96 GB dedicated video memory under the performance or system information tabs.
