Purpose-built workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with an RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU for SolidWorks CAD CAM CAE modelling. The 32 GB DDR5 memory and 8 TB NVMe storage handle large assemblies and simulation data. It is not for buyers who need more than 16 GPU GB or who require multiple graphics cards for rendering farms.

Thermals and power

A 360 mm liquid CPU cooler and an 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU with a 140 mm fan manage heat and noise during sustained workloads. The Corsair 4000D case provides airflow through front and top vents. The system draws up to 850 W at the wall under full load.

Bundled hardware impact

Two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds for project files. The 10 TB HDD adds 256 MB cache bulk storage for archives. Wi-Fi 7 and Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet give flexible network connectivity.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler installed on the AM5 socket, and what step is often missed?

Mount the AM5 bracket, apply thermal paste, secure the cold plate, then connect the pump header and route the 140 mm radiator fans to the correct fan headers so the curve responds to CPU temperature.

Which components will need replacement first under heavy workloads?

The 850 W Bronze PSU and the 140 mm radiator fans are the likeliest items to degrade after several years of sustained 16-core loads.

What thermal or power limit appears first when all 16 cores run near 5.70 GHz continuously?

The 360 mm AIO reaches its heat-dissipation ceiling before the 850 W PSU hits its rated output, causing the CPU to throttle below peak frequency.
