16-core Ryzen 9 9950X desktop with 64GB DDR5, 2TB NVMe SSD, 10TB HDD and RTX A4000 16GB graphics for engineering workloads and VR
This desktop workstation pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X running at 4.3 GHz with an Nvidia RTX A4000 16 GB GPU. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD keep large assemblies in fast storage. The system targets engineers running SolidWorks, CAM toolpaths or CAE solvers who need certified driver stability.
A single AM5 processor now delivers 32 threads and up to 5.70 GHz boost, covering workloads that previously required two sockets. The jump is worth it when simulation jobs fit within 64 GB RAM and the 10 TB hard drive holds the project archive. Builders who need more than 192 GB memory or multiple full-height add-in cards should look elsewhere.
The Gigabyte X870 EAGLE motherboard provides four DDR5 slots for future expansion to 192 GB and three M.2 connectors for additional NVMe drives. A 360 mm AIO cooler handles the CPU thermal load inside the Antec P10 FLUX mid-tower. An 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU powers the platform while Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 handle network connectivity.

The Antec P10 FLUX mid-tower measures 477 mm deep, 220 mm wide and 486 mm high and accepts ATX motherboards such as the Gigabyte X870 EAGLE installed in this system.
The 360 mm radiator fits the front of the case with three 120 mm fans; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it on the Ryzen 9 9950X.
The chassis provides three 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch internal bays; the motherboard adds two more M.2 slots beyond the occupied 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO, so extra SATA SSDs or HDDs up to the bay count can be fitted.
