Workstation for CAD and AI workloads

The system pairs a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell graphics card carrying 48GB of video memory. 32GB of DDR5 system memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD provide capacity for large assemblies and datasets. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Liquid-cooled chassis with high-speed I/O

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU inside a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass case. The Z890-PLUS TUF motherboard supplies Thunderbolt 4, USB 20Gbps and 10Gbps ports, Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5G Ethernet. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports allow further storage expansion. A 140mm fan in the 850W power supply keeps noise low.

Replaces older single-threaded modelling boxes

The 20-core architecture and 48GB GPU memory accelerate multi-threaded simulation and AI inference that exceed the limits of 4-core or 8-core desktops. Buyers who need more than 192GB of system memory or multiple GPU configurations should look elsewhere. The jump is worthwhile when current render or solve times stall project deadlines.

Questions about this item

What PCI Express generation does the RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell use and what bandwidth does that provide?

The GPU connects via PCI Express x16. The board also offers one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, one USB 20Gbps Type-C, three USB 10Gbps and three USB 5Gbps ports on the rear I/O.

What are the case dimensions and which drive bays are available for extra storage?

The Corsair 4000D chassis measures 490 x 239 x 486 mm and provides two internal 3.5-inch bays and two internal 2.5-inch bays for additional drives.

How is the CPU cooler mounted and what clearance step is often missed?

The 240 mm liquid cooler is pre-installed on the LGA 1851 socket; builders must ensure the radiator fans are oriented for exhaust so the 140 mm PSU fan and case airflow remain unobstructed.
