Core configuration

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and 8TB of NVMe storage across two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives. Integrated graphics handle display output through HDMI and DisplayPort. The system targets workstation users who need large memory capacity and fast storage for compilation, virtualization or content pipelines without a discrete GPU.

Thermals and acoustics

A 240mm liquid cooler manages the CPU while the Ceres 300 case moves air through three 140mm fans rated at 1500rpm and 30dBA each. The 750W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses a Japanese main capacitor and a 140mm fan designed for low noise. Together they keep the platform stable under sustained multi-core loads in a mid-tower footprint.

Upgrade context

The four DDR5 slots are fully populated at the 192GB maximum supported by the Z890 motherboard, so memory expansion requires replacing modules rather than adding them. Two M.2 slots remain free for additional NVMe drives, and the case provides one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch bays for SATA storage. Buyers who need discrete graphics acceleration or more than 192GB of RAM should consider a different platform.

Questions about this item

How is the 240 mm liquid CPU cooler installed, and what step do builders often miss?

The cooler comes pre-filled and mounted to the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K on the TUF GAMING Z890-PLUS motherboard; the step people forget is connecting the pump header and the ARGB cable to the correct motherboard pins before closing the Ceres 300 case.

What maintenance will the liquid cooling loop and the 192 GB DDR5 memory need later?

The sealed 240 mm loop requires no refill; dust the 140 mm front and rear fans every few months, and the four DDR5 slots are fully populated at 192 GB so no memory upgrade is possible without replacing modules.

What limit appears first when the 20-core CPU runs at 5.50 GHz under sustained load?

The 240 mm liquid cooler and 750 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU set the thermal and power ceiling; the CPU will throttle before the 8 TB Samsung 990 PRO SSDs or Wi-Fi 7 link become bottlenecks.
